ERASMUS+ 2020-1-DE01-KA203-005668
The Erasmus + project "IncludeHER"(09/2020 – 08/2022) was a project coordinated by Johannes Gutenberg- University with the duration of two years. The project started on September 1st and focused on the development digital skills of women with a migration background through continuing/outreach education. Based on gender-specific differences in terms of motivation and engagement with digital technologies, the resources of the project better equip Higher Education Institutions in all participating countries helping redress the gender imbalance in the digital sphere and empower female migrants to attain higher levels of digital competence. The result of the project was, on the one hand, the development of an open access online course for migrant women, which should help them to promote their digital skills in a pleasant and effective environment. On the other hand, a new cooperation network was created for the project partners. "IncludeHER" was a project funded by the European Commission with partners from Belgium, Ireland, Great Britain, Greece and Portugal.

The IncludeHER project conducted user testing in English to further develop and improve the content of the IncludeHER online course. The survey involved teachers and migrant women of different ages, backgrounds, and professions who wanted to assess their digital literacy and were interested in developing their digital skills.
IncludeHER Multiplier Event in July 2022
On 1 July 2022, we held our Online-Multiplier event for the German section. We greatly appreciate the feedback and are very grateful for the valuable exchange. The participants work in different fields of adult education. All of them have experience in promoting digital competencies of immigrant or refugee women with a migration background.
The multipliers had the opportunity to take a look at the individual module manuals, which serve as background literature and contain information that is used in the MOOC course. They form the basis for the course, which is why it is so important that these are well prepared and designed to be understandable for the respective target group.
